Major:<\/strong> Interactive media<\/a><\/p>\n

Clark Days:<\/strong> Camden remembers becoming immediately fascinated with the Nintendo Wii game console he received as a gift when he was 6 years old. This early love of games led Camden to the Becker School of Design & Technology from his hometown of Ashland, Virginia. He was attracted to the program\u2019s impressive ranking \u2014 The Princeton Review has named the BSDT the No. 4 school for game design in the world<\/a>. Creating games during the Game Studio course was the highlight of Camden\u2019s undergraduate years. The course was a valuable asset in understanding the process of making a game from scratch and building his confidence in public speaking.<\/p>\n

Post-Commencement Plans:<\/strong> Camden is pursuing his MFA in the BSTD graduate program<\/a>. He\u2019s continuing work on Garden of T\u00e1ozi, a sliding block puzzle game he and his peers worked on during the past academic year and exhibited at the PAX East gaming conference this spring. Camden will lead a Game Studio course as an MFA student to prepare Garden of T\u00e1ozi for commercial release. Before graduate school, he\u2019s spending a month in Japan this summer to study the language.<\/p>\n

Observation:<\/strong> \u201cPlaying video games can transport you out of this world and into the world that\u2019s inside the TV. That blew my mind when I was a kid. I\u2019ve wanted to pursue video game design ever since.\u201d<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
