Commencement 2014

Sunday, May 18, 2014
Jefferson Academic Center Green
The procession from Kneller Athletic Center begins at noon

Congratulations! You will soon receive your degree from Clark University! It is with great excitement that we announce a new model for Commencement 2014. This model recognizes all University graduates as a whole, yet also features and highlights the accomplishments of both the undergraduate college and the graduate schools separately.

The Commencement processional will begin at noon followed by a University-wide ceremony on the campus green. At approximately 1:30 graduate students and their guests will recess to Kneller Athletic Center for a graduate school Commencement while the undergraduate commencement will continue on the green.

Live Webcast

Watch a live webcast of Commencement (link available on May 18th). Clark will use to broadcast Commencement. To make sure the webcast will work for you in advance, try watching any other event on the site.

Watch commencement on-demand (available, shortly after the ceremony finishes). A download of the event will also be available.

Indoor seating option for guests of Undergraduates is located in Daniel's Theater/Atwood Hall. Both the University-wide ceremony and the Undergraduate Commencement will be broadcast in Atwood Hall.

Guests of Graduate students who prefer indoor seating should go to the Kneller Athletic Center where the Graduate Commencement will be held after the University-wide ceremony. The Kneller Athletic Center will open to guests of Graduate students shortly after the noontime procession to the campus Green has ended. Guest seating for the graduate student portion of Commencement will be very limited. Students are asked to bring no more than three guests to the Kneller Athletic Center for the graduate student ceremony.

Additional/overflow seating options for guests of Graduate students are available in Johnson Auditorium in the Sackler Science building. Both the University-wide ceremony and the Graduate Commencement will be broadcast in Johnson Auditorium in addition to the Kneller Athletic Center.

Because guests of Graduate students will move to the Kneller Athletic Center after the University-wide ceremony, specific seating areas on the campus Green are recommended and will be marked with green banners. These seating areas will provide easier access to the Kneller Athletic Center from the campus Green. All other seating areas on the campus Green are recommended for Undergraduate guests.
