To complete the major, you\u2019ll take courses distributed across six components:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>CES 101: Introduction to Climate, Environment and Society<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Three introductory core courses provide foundational knowledge of earth\u2019s biophysical and societal systems.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>One quantitative literacy course where you\u2019ll develop the skills to interpret and communicate complex data<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Two skills courses, with choices ranging from data visualization to GIS and analysis<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Four elective courses, including problems of practice options<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A capstone credit with flexibility to complete an internship, take an upper-level course, participate in a directed study, conduct an honors project, or participate in a research experience<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-vertically-aligned-top is-layout-flow
