Environmental Conservation in an Age of Data Sovereignty: Reflections from the North Coast

The George Perkins Marsh Institute and Jeanne X. Kasperson Research Library announce the 2022 Seminar Series. Seminars will present cutting-edge research on human/environment interactions taking place at Clark University and are designed to catalyze discussions regarding future research possibilities. Seminars are open to all and will take place from 12:15 pm-1:15 pm. in the Lurie Conference Room. The format is a 40-45 minute presentation followed by 15-20 minutes of question and discussion. Interaction with speakers is encouraged. Light refreshments will be provided.

Rebecca Dickson, Ph.D. ’09, a geospatial analysis and modeling expert, will discuss the importance of creating science-driven REDD policy.
Stefanie Covino, Marsh Institute research scientist and director of the Blackstone Watershed Collaborative, will discuss creating partnerships between academia and the community to build climate resilience.
