Louis is a senior at Clark University studying Geography. He is a research assistant at CGA, working on the pond aquaculture mapping project in partnership with the Gordon and Betty Moore Foundation. Before joining the Center, Louis previously worked as an undergraduate field assistant in Clark’s Forest Ecology Lab, where he spent two months in California performing fieldwork and supporting doctoral research on forest fires. Louis is skilled in GIS and remote sensing software, and seeks to apply his technical background to support environmental protection efforts.
His research interests include: land change modeling, mapping new housing and ground solar in coastal Rhode Island, and environmental monitoring.
