Annan Shrestha

Annan Shrestha is a current GIS graduate student at Clark University and research assistant at Clark University’s Center for Geospatial Analysis. With over three years of experience, he has developed proficiency in various GIS platforms, including ArcPro, ArcMap, and QGIS, and possess skills in Python programming, data visualization, statistical analysis, and remote sensing. 

He received his master’s degree in environmental science from Tribhuvan University, Nepal, which has provided him with a solid understanding of environmental systems and challenges. He has contributed to projects such as soil erosion mapping in Bagmati Province, habitat modeling for African elephants in Tanzania, and flood modeling in the West Rapti Basin.  He is passionate about leveraging GIS technologies to address real-world problems and enhance decision-making across various sectors. In his leisure time, he enjoys traveling, photography, and gaming.
