Take a look at the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.clarku.edu\/offices\/career-connections-center\/resources\/\">How-To Guides<\/a>&nbsp;to find sample resumes and cover letter templates, interviewing tips, networking advice, and more.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Clark\u2019s&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.clarku.edu\/offices\/identity\/\">Office for Identity, Student Engagement, and Access (ISEA)<\/a>&nbsp;assists students of ALANA (African-, Latinx-, Asian\/Desi-, Native\/Indigenous-American, Pacific Islander, and multiracial) and descent and first-generation college students in the development and implementation of their academic, leadership, and career goals.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-find-a-job-internship-or-fellowship\">Find a job, internship, or fellowship<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.clarku.edu\/offices\/student-employment\/\">Clark\u2019s On-Campus Student Employment<\/a>&nbsp;website has resources to help you find and apply to on-campus jobs.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.clarku.edu\/offices\/career-connections-center\/get-ready\/find-jobs-and-internships\/\">Career Connections Center<\/a>&nbsp;offers job and internship search strategies and resources.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/projectonrampma.com\/\">Project Onramp<\/a>, an initiative of several Massachusetts organizations in the life sciences, provides under-resourced college students with access to paid internships in STEM. To learn more and to apply for STEM internships, email the Career Connections Center at&nbsp;<a href=\"mailto:cservices@clarku.edu\">cservices@clarku.edu<\/a>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.lawyerscommittee.org\/firstgenfellow\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">First Gen Fellows<\/a>&nbsp;is a paid summer program for undergraduate students who are the first in their immediate families to attend college and who intend to pursue careers in social justice.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.clarku.edu\/offices\/career-connections-center\/gain-experience\/funding-opportunities\/\">Apply for funding<\/a>&nbsp;for your opportunities through the Career Connections Center if you secure an internship or research project that is unpaid (or underpaid).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-make-connections-and-find-community\">Make connections and find community<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.clarku.edu\/offices\/identity\/\">Office for Identity, Student Engagement, and Access (ISEA)<\/a>&nbsp;assists students of ALANA (African-American, Latinx, Asian\/Desi-American, Pacific Islander, Native\/Indigenous- American and Multiracial) descent and first generation college students in the development and implementation of their academic, leadership and career goals. MFGSS provides mentoring, training and community spaces.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.clarku.edu\/clarkconnect\/students\/\">The ClarkCONNECT Network<\/a>&nbsp;is a virtual community of alumni, students, and faculty where you can find a mentor, apply to jobs, internships, and ClarkCONNECT projects, explore research collaborations, learn about an industry, and get advice from professionals in the field. You can find Clark alumni who identify as first-generation students on ClarkCONNECT by logging into your profile, clicking the \u201cConnect\u201d tab, and selecting \u201cFirst-Generation College Student\u201d under \u201cHelp Topic.\u201d<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/bigfuture.collegeboard.org\/find-colleges\/academic-life\/the-scoop-how-to-get-to-know-your-college-professors\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">The Scoop: How to Get To Know Your College Professors<\/a>&nbsp;is a Q&amp;A video with students and educators about building relationships with your professors.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-financial-resources\">Financial resources<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>If you need support identifying additional financial aid resources or understanding the types of aid available to you, contact the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.clarku.edu\/offices\/financial-aid\/\">Office of Financial Aid<\/a>. You can also check the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.clarku.edu\/offices\/financial-aid\/current-undergraduate-students\/frequently-asked-questions\/\">Frequently Asked Questions<\/a>&nbsp;page to find answers to some of the more common questions.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Understanding&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/studentaid.gov\/h\/understand-aid\">How Financial Aid Works<\/a>&nbsp;can be overwhelming, but it will help you navigate deadlines, plan, and make important financial decisions. This resource, from Federal Student Aid, walks you through how to understand different types of financial aid.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.clarku.edu\/offices\/identity\/\">Funding to make co-curricular experiences more accessible<\/a>&nbsp;is available through the Office for Identity, Student Engagement, and Access (ISEA). A limited number of annual scholarships to support students in accomplishing their goals are available to students of color and\/or first generation Clark University undergraduates. The Career Connections Center also provides&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.clarku.edu\/offices\/career-connections-center\/gain-experience\/funding-opportunities\/\">funding for opportunities<\/a>&nbsp;that are unpaid or underpaid internships, research, or projects.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.goladderup.org\/our-services\/financial-aid-for-college\/\">Go Ladder Up<\/a>&nbsp;is a hub of resources to guide you in completing the FAFSA application for financial aid, understanding award letters, applying for student loans, and other college finance questions.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>This&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/financialaidtoolkit.ed.gov\/tk\/resources\/all.jsp\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Financial Aid Toolkit<\/a>&nbsp;can help you understand financial aid and make financial decisions.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.clevergirlfinance.com\/blog\/college-student-budget\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Clever Girl Finance<\/a>&nbsp;offers resources and education on how to manage your money while in college and&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.clevergirlfinance.com\/blog\/college-student-budget\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">how to create a budget you can use<\/a>&nbsp;while in school.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-academic-advising\">Academic advising<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.clarku.edu\/offices\/academic-advising-center\/\">Academic Advising Center<\/a>&nbsp;offers general academic services to help you plan your academic program. You can choose your major (or design your own), develop strategies to overcome academic difficulties, receive assistance around learning or special needs, evaluate transfer credits, and more. You can also find&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.clarku.edu\/offices\/academic-advising-center\/resources\/\">commonly requested forms<\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-health-and-wellness\">Health and wellness<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.clarku.edu\/offices\/counseling\/\">Center for Counseling and Personal Growth<\/a>&nbsp;at Clark provides individual support, discussion groups, events and programs, and resources for your mental and emotional health, including a&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.clarku.edu\/offices\/counseling\/self-help\/mental-health-toolbox\/\">Mental Health Toolbox<\/a>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>As a student, you balance many different roles and responsibilities. rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">I\u2019m First<\/a>&nbsp;is an online community celebrating first-generation college students through student blogs and special
