After an extensive review process, Clark University\u2019s<\/a> School of Business (School of Business)<\/a> has once again earned accreditation by The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB).<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The recognition is one received by less than 5 percent of the world\u2019s business schools.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWe are honored to earn AACSB accreditation as one of the world\u2019s best business schools,\u201d said Dr. Alan Eisner, dean for the School of Business. \u201cIt is a great testament to our faculty and staff\u2019s commitment to program quality, rigor, and improvement.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

Every five years, AACSB-accredited institutions undergo a review to earn an extension on their previous accreditation. Achieving accreditation involves a multi-year process of intense internal review, as well as a peer-review evaluation. AACSB requires schools to meet standards of excellence in areas relating to strategic management; teaching and learning; student, faculty, and staff as active participants; and professional and academic engagement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The School of Business has an impressive history of achievement with AACSB, having been re-accredited since the school\u2019s inception in 1982.  In 2020, AACSB recognized School of Business’s Innovation and Entrepreneurship Ventures<\/a> (I & E Ventures) in its Innovations That Inspire Challenge. I & E Ventures was selected as one of 25 examples<\/a> of how business schools around the world are elevating entrepreneurship, supporting new business creation, and serving as \u201cCatalysts for Innovation.\u201d Back in 2012,  Clark alumnus Lawrence Landry ’71, MBA ’75, was recognized as one of the first 100 AACSB Influential Leaders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This year, Clark\u2019s School of Business is among 25 business schools to have extended their accreditation in business. Notably, the School of Business was re-accredited under the most recent 2020 standards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cEvery AACSB-accredited school has demonstrated a focus on excellence in all areas, including teaching, research, curricula development and student learning,\u201d said Stephanie M. Bryant, executive vice president, and chief accreditation officer of AACSB. \u201cThe intense peer-review process exemplifies their commitment to quality business education.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Within a small, supportive environment, School of Business continues to offer an array of programs strengthened by its commitment to social innovation<\/a>, responsible management, and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. In addition to the MBA<\/a> and specialized master\u2019s degrees<\/a>, its newest graduate degree programs include marketing analytics, accounting analytics, and talent management and human resources<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At the undergraduate level, the business school launched a bachelor\u2019s in marketing<\/a>, as well as track and concentration options in data analytics and actuarial finance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
