<\/figure>\n\n\n\nMorton H. \u201951 and Vivian B. Sigel Undergraduate Management Award<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n About Morton H. and Vivian B. Sigel\u2026 Morton and Vivian were dedicated and generous friends of Clark University, as well as engaged citizens who contributed time, talent, and resources to several Worcester area organizations. Mort graduated from Clark with a degree in business in 1951, and was the founder and CEO of Millbrook Distribution Services in Leicester, Massachusetts. He and his family have made significant contributions to Clark and the School of Business over many years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The Sigel Undergraduate Award is presented to Drashhti Bilimoria <\/strong>and Abigail Souza<\/strong>, who had the highest GPA\u2019s in the management major.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Drashti<\/strong> is currently a management major with an English minor and will be returning to Clark this fall to pursue her MBA. This year, Drashti was selected by the Ana Education Foundation to be part of their Made Internship Cohort and will be entering as a digital strategy intern at Mindshare this summer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Abby<\/strong> is a senior majoring in business management and minoring economics. She is in the accelerated MBA program and plans on doing a concentration in finance. Abby has been a member of the women\u2019s soccer team at Clark for the past four years and will be serving as a graduate assistant coach next season.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Morton H. \u201951 and Vivian B. Sigel Endowed Fellowship Award<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n The Sigel Endowed Fellowship is awarded to Eesha Kashif <\/strong>and Delaney Pummill<\/strong>. This award is voted upon by the School of Business staff and faculty and is given to individuals who exhibit excellence in academic achievement and who demonstrate strength of character, strong leadership skills and outstanding potential for future success in the business community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Eesha<\/strong> is a senior at Clark and studying management and political science with a concentration in international relations, and will be getting her MBA with a concentration in finance through Clark\u2019s accelerated degree program next year. She plans to continue her academic success, extracurricular involvement, and community service in the Clark community in the future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Delaney<\/strong> graduated with a dual degree in international business from the University of Missouri in 2018. After discovering her passion for service in college, she decided to do two years of service as an Americorps member for the education non-profit, City Year. Now as a Clark MBA student pursing a concentration in social change and sustainability, Delaney is looking forward to graduating in December and starting a career that unites her passions for business and service.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Joining the awards ceremony was Jonathan R. Sigel, son of Mort and Vivian Sigel. Mr. Sigel congratulated the award winners and talked fondly of his parents\u2019 love for Clark.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cMy parents were passionate about Clark,\u201d Sigel stated. “My dad dedicated himself to the growth of School of Business. He served as trustee for the college, was the chair of alumni association and the Clark fund at one point, winning the distinguished service award in 2001.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n William \u201953 and Agnes Hausrath Leadership Award<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n About William F. Hausrath\u2026 William graduated from Clark University in 1953 with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree. During and after a long and distinguished career at General Electric\u2019s aircraft engine division in Lynn, Massachusetts, Bill devoted much of his energy to supporting Clark University as an actively engaged alumnus. His generosity to Clark University has allowed the creation of undergraduate scholarships, the Armenian Genocide Fellowship Fund in the Strassler Center for Holocaust and Genocide Studies, and the Bill \u201953 and Agnes Hausrath Fund for Business Leadership in the School of Business.<\/p>\n\n\n\n This year\u2019s Hausrath Leadership Award is presented to Sangam Dahal, Qingqing Lu, and Margaret Paul.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Sangam<\/strong> is from Nepal and is a second year dual degree student pursing an MBA and MS in Finance, while also serving as vice-president of the School of Business Student Council.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Qingqing<\/strong>, known as Eva, is an MBA student concentrating in marketing. She serviced as the Student Council president for the 2020-21 academic year. She has also participated in various search committees at Clark, as we as being a student representative on Clark\u2019s Board of Trustees.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Maggie<\/strong> completed her undergraduate degree at Clark University, earning a BA in geography. As an undergrad she was involved in sustainability clubs on campus, and played on the women\u2019s lacrosse team. She continued at Clark through the fifth-year program to earn her MBA, working as a teaching assistant for both graduate and undergraduate courses. After graduating Maggie will be working for Competitive Energy Services, an energy consulting firm, as an energy services advisor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n 2021 PRME Alumni Award<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n The Principles for Responsible Management Education (PRME) Alumni Award is given annually to a School of Business alumna or alumnus whose actions and contributions, either through volunteer or work, align with the schools focus on responsible leadership, ethics, social responsibility, and\/or sustainability.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The 2021 PRME Alumni Award winner is Daniel Estevez ’14,<\/strong> Program Director and CEO of Families Together Adult Day Health Care Center, an organization he founded. Since graduation, Daniel has contributed to other ventures as well. He was the co-founder of Synergy Wellness Center in Hudson, MA. Soon after, he sold his portion of the business to solely focus on Families Together. Currently, he is embarking on adding a Mental Health component to Families Together in order to provide in-home counseling.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Beta Gamma Sigma Inductees<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Beta Gamma Sigma is the international honor society for AACSB accredited business schools. Membership into the society is offered only to the top 10% of undergraduate students and top 20% of graduate students. It is the highest honor that a business student can achieve.
