Entrepreneurship and innovation are the foundation of change. To initiate change, one must embrace their strengths and skills, and align them with the identified needed change. Through the process of entrepreneurship and innovation, a product, service, or social cause, can be brought to market, which will inspire change and help spur growth of self and others.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rowan Turner \u201926 and Eli Burgess \u201926 developed their business idea in a class called Clark Tank, which challenges students to develop a pitch, then present it at the Clark Tank competition. Their idea is called ParentLock, a phone safety app that encourages better communication between adults and their children.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Why study entrepreneurship and innovation at Clark?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Students who choose a Clark University Entrepreneurship and Innovation (E&I) minor are supported with several related initiatives, clubs, and relevant courses, to implement their endeavor. Entrepreneurship and Innovation courses are designed to help a student to identify problems, ideate solutions to those problems, and implement the best solution to bring about the desired change.
