Heidy Coronel (she\/her) graduated from Clark University in 2021 with a B.A. in Sociology and a minor in Geography.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
She works at the Naugatuck Valley Council of Governments in the Communications & Community Engagement Department, the first department of its kind at a Council of Governments in Connecticut. Her role sits at the intersection of multiple disciplines, and she is passionate about sharing these experiences with students who may be exploring interdisciplinary paths.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
While at Clark, she engaged with the Latin American Student Organization, the First-Gen and Multicultural Center, and career development programming at the Career Center.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Heidy is passionate about giving back to her community, and volunteers with the Latino Scholarship Fund in Fairfield County which awarded $30,000 in scholarships to first-generation college students in 2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
