Clark’s Reunion: Soggy and Sensational!
Clarkies of all ages honored our Alumni Council award winners at the Friday Night Awards Dinner; socialized at affinity gatherings and other meet-ups on and off campus; got creative with a paint-n-sip activity; enjoyed an awesome tour of the Worcester Art Museum; reminisced about the 70s at Clark at an Archives exhibit; danced to tunes at The Grind, and reveled in all that is Clark at Dancing Under the Stars. Rain on Saturday didn’t dampen spirits, and the sun came out for Commencement on Sunday!

Alumni on campus for their 50th Reunion enjoyed a special luncheon and medallion ceremony on Friday afternoon; were invited to faculty-led lectures as part of the mini “Alumni University;” tried out some Tai Chi Saturday morning led by classmate Gary Donovan ’73; discussed the “music that shaped their lives” with classmate Steven DePaul ’73; and dined together, along with the 50th Year Associates, before the Saturday night festivities.
Many attendees were surprised to see the exciting projects currently underway at Clark, including the refurbishment of the Goddard Library facade and the construction of the newest campus building, the Center for Media Arts, Computing, and Design (MACD), which opens this fall. We’d like to thank our Reunion Committee volunteers for reaching out to classmates to encourage them to attend and to make a gift in honor of their milestone Reunion. Committee members did an excellent and important job reaching out to classmates and getting them excited to return to campus.
