If you are a faculty member seeking research support from corporations and foundations, contact Clark University’s Office of Corporate and Foundation Relations for individualized consultation.
We can assist you with your funding needs and priorities throughout the process — before, during, and after you receive awards.
We can assist you with developing grant and gift proposals for new initiatives and research collaborations with corporations and foundations. That includes:
- Reviewing and providing feedback on letters of inquiry, proposals, and budgets.
- Discussing and negotiating proposals, agreements, and budgets with foundation program officers and industry representatives.
- Providing technical assistance with applications and awards — including compiling institutional information, financial statements, and IRS documents — and providing required attachments and approvals.
- Working closely with the Office of Sponsored Programs and Research to coordinate and process grant proposals.
Processing and recording gifts in conjunction with Grant Accounting and Advancement Services.
Funding Opportunities and Prospect Research
We are here to assist your funding search in several ways, from providing information on requests for proposals (RFPs) to customized prospect research for your project.
Request for Proposals (RFPs)
A request for proposals (RFP) is a funder’s written announcement inviting proposals, usually for a specific grant program. Our office serves as a clearinghouse for many RFPs. View current opportunities.
We can identify funders whose mission matches your work. Tell us about your project, and we’ll produce a short list of the best prospects we can find, with information on programs, past grants, and application strategies. Get started by contacting our office for a conversation or complete our online prospect research form.
