Hitting the Ground Running

Terra Oliveira has worked with local nonprofits that run the spectrum from human services to shelters, the arts, and food justice. She found a home as the director of administration at Worcester Community Action Council, where she enjoys the opportunity to put her MPA preparation to work in a variety of ways.

I was grateful for the opportunity to enter the workforce having already put my interests into practice. It’s been a lot of luck and hard work since then, but I credit Clark’s MPA program for getting my foot in the door.
—Terra Oliveira ’07, MPA ’08
