  ARTIST'S STATEMENT:

In my concern to help resolve the critical problems of the Niger Delta,  I am employing   the medium of painting to convey the message of peace to all stake-holders -- the government,  the inhabitants of the region, the oil explorers (oil companies) and of course, all interested parties.

To bring this message to all,  major festivals will be organised in the important cities of  the region. They will feature theatre, the presentation of scholarly papers and a  group exhibition of the works of selected artists from the region --  all addressing the message of Peace.  Sponsors are needed to actualize this vision.
