The ALANA Student Pre-Orientation Program

Are you African-American, Latino/a, Native American, or Asian-American (ALANA) and a domestic first-year or transfer student? Would you like an opportunity to connect with other Clark community members before you start college? If so, consider attending Connections @ Clark prior to the Week One orientation program. Connections @ Clark is designed to help you adjust to the academic, cultural and social changes you will experience at Clark University and in Worcester.
Registration deadline is July 12. Register now!
During Connections @ Clark, you will:
- Move into your residence hall.
- Meet and interact with other incoming and returning students, faculty, staff, administrators and alumni.
- Learn about the available resources (i.e. residence life, health center, and student leadership and development) at Clark.
- Be informed of the various businesses (for example, restaurants and banks) in Worcester.
- Become a member of the Clark community before the beginning of the academic year.
- Have fun!

Continuing support for ALANA students
The Assistant Dean of Students for ALANA Student Support provides ongoing opportunities for student engagement and workshops on various topics, including internships and résumé writing. The Assistant Dean serves as an advocate and member of a larger support system for all students, including ALANA, at Clark University.
