Clark Nature Connection

Getting back to nature was never so easy!

At Clark we're well accustomed to the lively buzz of an urban campus. But when you're ready for a break from the city life, the wonders of nature are close at hand.

Clark Nature Connection, a program of weekly Sunday afternoon small group hikes sponsored by the Office of Student Leadership and Programming and the Clark University Outing Club, offers convenient access to the outdoors of Worcester and nearby communities.

Each week a new destination is chosen from a rich array of local and state parks and forests, conservation land, and wildlife preserves. Hike through woodlands, along rivers and streams, around lakes and ponds, over hills, and down wilderness trails.

Most Clark Nature Connection trips depart around midday and return mid to late afternoon. Transportation is provided. Trips are free of charge and no experience is required, but participants should be in good health and comfortable walking on unpaved hiking trails.

Specific destinations and trip sign-up procedures are announced in advance of each hike. Please visit Clark's Outing Club web site for details of upcoming Clark Nature Connection trips.
