Academic Facilities and Technology Support
Clark's library system provides extensive resources for learning across all disciplines, as well as for student and faculty research.
Clark's flagship library is named for Dr. Robert Goddard, the Clark physicist who invented the rocket technology that made space travel possible. As a cutting-edge facility for research, teaching and learning, Goddard Library centralizes academic and research support services for students and faculty.

Clark's state-of-the-art, environmentally friendly Center for Bioscience houses research laboratories, flexible teaching laboratories to accommodate a variety of instructional approaches, laboratory support to allow significant shared equipment, classroom and seminar rooms with state-of-the-art technology and faculty offices near the laboratories. Lasry Center has received Gold certification by the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Green Building Rating System.
The Sackler Center and affiliated buildings include many newly renovated research, teaching and office spaces used by faculty and their students in biochemistry and molecular biology, chemistry, environmental science, physics, mathematics and computer science.
Visual and Performing Arts Facilities
Opened in 2002, the Traina Center is a state-of-the-art facility for the visual and performing arts. The complex consists of a completely remodeled late-19th-century brick school building of Richardsonian design with a newly built hall for lectures, recitals and screenings. Studios for painting, drawing and graphic design, together with a print-making studio, photography darkroom, exhibition gallery, visual resource library, multimedia center and high-tech classrooms, create an integrated environment for the study, creation, display and performance of studio art, art history, music, theater arts and film.
The Little Center is devoted to the creation of theatrical performances and includes a black-box theater, experimental theater, costume shop, design workshop, practice studio and classroom. The building also includes a fully equipped sculpture studio and a dark room for studio art honors majors in photography.
Estabrook Hall contains music classrooms, practice rooms, the George F. and Sybil H. Fuller Foundation Center for Music, and senior studios for advanced studio art students.

- Save your papers and presentations in network-based file storage.
- Access Web-based course material.
- Read electronic reserves hosted by the Goddard Library.
The Clark Network—Wired and Wireless
All residence hall rooms have wired ClarkNet access, which requires an Ethernet cable. Students also have the option of upgrading to a Charter Broadband connection in their rooms to get even faster Internet access. The high-speed wireless network, Clark WiFi, is also available from many public areas across campus.
Computer to Campus
Clark recommends that students have their own computer equipment to support their academic work. Our Information Technology Services Office (ITS) offers advice and support services for choosing and maintaining student personal computers. ITS also runs a Help Desk until 10 p.m. on weekdays.
