Having a learning experience in a foreign country is a transformational undertaking, one that can help you grow intellectually and increase your confidence, competence, and maturity. The Office of Study Abroad and Study Away Programs administers, oversees, and coordinates approximately 50 semester- and year-long programs through partnership agreements with institutions and third-party providers worldwide. All of these offer credit-bearing experiences. We can assist with program advice and applications, budgeting and scholarship resources and re-entry workshops such as integrating study abroad into your career plans.
As always, if you are considering a study abroad program, you should consult with your LEEP Center Adviser first. They can advise you not only about programs offered through the Office of Study Abroad, but also other opportunities for purposeful travel—including shorter-term trips over spring break or four to eight weeks over the summer—such as:
- Trips led by student groups, athletic teams, or faculty
- Service learning trips
- Summer internships or study abroad programs not affiliated with Clark
- May Term in Luxembourg offered by the Henry J. Leir Luxembourg Program at Clark
