Welcome

Congratulations to the newly elected E-board!

The Residence Hall Association, or RHA, is a group of students living in Clark’s residence halls and houses whose main focus is in the residence halls. We develop creative programming, address concerns within the residence halls, and serve as a resource to all students.

Clark’s RHA does this in two ways. RHA focuses on campus wide programming, and serving as the voice of all resident students on campus. We plan at least one campus-wide program a month, co-sponsor programs with other student organizations, RAs and Hall Councils, and meet with RLH to discuss issues that students are concerned with. Some of our most successful programs include the Annual Suitcase Semiformal and Clark Idol.

Each individual hall on campus has their own Hall Council. The Clark Houses Council is comprised of representatives for each house. This group is mainly focused on their particular living area, though they do help with campus-wide programming. They receive a small budget from RHA and put on fun community building programs, listen to the students, and meet with the RAs to better the community, security, and living environment of our resident students. Fun programs like Ice Cream Brownie Sundaes, Spirit Weeks, BBQs, and Saturday Morning Cartoons Clark Style make sure that every Residence Hall isn’t just a “dorm,” but a fun, exciting, living environment!

RHA is nationally affiliated with the National Association of College and University Residence Halls, and regionally part of the Northeast Affiliate of this organization (NACURH). Being part of one of the largest student-run organizations in the world gives Clark RHA and its members exciting opportunities to attend conferences, network with student leaders from across the country, and have lots of fun showing their school spirit at different colleges and universities. Conferences in November, March, and May are open to all Clark students – look for your chance to join us and see for yourself what all the excitement is about!
