Get Involved
Want to get involved with Clark Undergraduate Student Council? There is a variety of ways you could join us:

GET ELECTED: Pick up a petition, available in the CUSC office in the Higgins University Center, and run for office! If you are unsure, email cusc@clarku.edu to find out when the next elections will be held. You may represent your residence hall, your class year, or international or minority students. Campaigning begins a couple of weeks before elections, and the Elections Committee of CUSC will walk you through the rules and processes. CUSC holds two elections per semester.

GET APPOINTED Click here to download the Common Student Leadership Application to get involved with the various CUSC affiliated positions. The positions are listed in the application and can be divided into three categories: Trustee Committees, Administrative Committees and CUSC Positions. Once you fill out the application, slip it under the CUSC office door, and the Elections Committee Chair will contact you shortly to schedule an interview.

As of October 14th, 2009, the following committee positions are still open to students:
Affirmative Action/Sexual Respect Committee
The Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning
Faculty Steering Committee
Library Committee
Undergraduate Academic Board
Undergraduate Admissions and Financial Aid
CUSC Judiciary Committee

JUST SHOW UP!: Come to our weekly meetings! We always have a section near the beginning of our meeting dedicated to hearing comments from the public. This is a great opportunity for you to bring forth issues directly to your representatives. We are obligated to hear student opinions and seriously consider any concerns.
