SPRING 2005 UPDATE

Following our initial funds drive in the Spring/Fall - CASA's President Maud Mabika, traveled to the school to present material purchased with the proceeds from the funds drive and spent time with the students. Please follow this link to access pictures from the visit.

The students from the school are very grateful for our efforts. They hope we will continue supporting them until they construct a classroom. In view of this, we CASA will sponsor another funds drive until we are able to finish building at least one classroom. We encourage everyone to join in this cause and donate wholeheartedly.

INTRO TO MASHINGIA PROJECT!!

Mashingia Secondary school is located in the rural town of Moshi in Tanzania, East Africa. Presently the school lacks classrooms and lessons are being conducted in temporary shelters which are built on hired land.

For your information Mashingia is a new and upcoming school located in Moshi, Tanzania. As an upcoming school they need assistance with rebuilding and ensuring that their students have basic school material. In the past two years we’ve been in contact with the school management committee, who has requested our assistance in helping them secure schooling space.

Last December, we sent our ambassador to meet the school management committee. From the feedback gathered we do feel there is a dire need to assist Mashingia community rebuild and provide hope for the poor students. We believe our ongoing investment in the school rebuilding program will enable the school management to effectively serve Mashingia’s  community and its hard-working students.

Thank you for your interest in CASA. We envision building upon collaborative success by engaging in community programs that will enlighten Clark community and improve the quality of life across Africa and the Caribbean
