Clark's Strassler Center for Holocaust and Genocide Studies is the first and only institute of its kind in the world.
Clark University drives global change in places where essential freedoms have frayed and opportunities have dwindled — on behalf of the poor, the displaced, and those whose communities have been splintered by genocide. These efforts also happen right outside our front door, where faculty and students partner with Worcester to improve the health and circumstances of the city’s most vulnerable populations.
This spirit of scholarly activism is long embedded in Clark’s marrow. It’s a tradition that demands we do more than give voice to the underserved. Instead, we get them to shout from the rooftops.
