With campuses in Hobart and Launceston, the study abroad program with UTas is offered in the fall, spring, and for a full-year (keeping in mind that their seasons are opposite of the U.S.).  Not only is UTas a premier creative and performing arts school, it is also a strong science and research university. Both Hobart and Launceton locations offer various outdoor pursuits including beaches, rivers, and wilderness nearby.

With over 15,000 students, UTas offers a unique curriculum while encouraging collaborative work in small class sizes.  Students matriculate in with Australian students, taking four courses during each semester.  Courses are generally two hours long per week, with additional time spent in labs or tutorials, leaving significant responsibility on the student to be self-motivated and self-disciplined to complete all coursework.

Students are guaranteed housing during each term.
