The Basics of Marketing

Thursday, October 23, 2008
8:45 – 12 noon
Grace Conference Room

People will not buy a product or service they do not know about or don't understand.  Create a Marketing Blueprint to help build the foundation of your business and it will take care of that for you. Quite simply, it plots out who you are, where you are going and how you are getting there.  It gives you the information on how to market your business through a series of steps that identify its strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats with definitive, customized actions on the right way to build your business.

Some of the building blocks of the blueprint will include:

  • Defining Core Goals
  • Establishing Key Strategies
  • Creating Essential Branding Options
  • Writing a Positioning Statement/Tag Line
  • Identifying Primary Target Markets
  • Determining Promotional Collateral and Multi-media Support

Speaker:

Fern Nissim, CMD, is the Principal of Integrated Marketing Sources in N. Grafton, MA. She brings her 20+ years of experience in the strategic marketing field to this workshop. Her programs have resulted in unprecedented growth for nonprofit and corporate organizations.  Fern is very active in the business community, has a number of professional certifications and is a featured speaker at many business programs each year.
