Transcript Services

NEW SERVICES - as of July 17, 2012

Clark University has partnered with the National Student Clearinghouse, a non-profit organization serving the higher education community, to offer Online Official Transcript ordering services for all current and former students, 24/7. Students will receive order status notifications sent to their email address and can opt for text message notifications to be sent directly to their phone.

A transcript is the official record of a student's entire academic and degree history at Clark University. The information provided on the transcript may include some or all of the following: student's name, level, program, major, minor, concentration, awarded degrees, awarded transfer credits, awarded advanced standing, awarded advanced placement, term-by-term course history, term earned units and GPA, and cumulative earned units and GPA.

A student's account must be free of any financial obligations in order for transcript orders to be accepted and processed. If a student is waiting for a grade or degree to be posted, s/he should confirm in their CUWeb account that the information has been posted and the transcript appears as expected prior to placing the order. All orders will be processed as they are received and will not be held for any pending changes.

Clark University currently offers the following delivery options for official transcript orders:

In-Person Pick-Ups $8.00 Per Copy 1-2 business days A photo ID is required for all transcript pick-ups; a signed authorization is required from the student for transcripts to be picked up by a third party.
Express (Fed-Ex) Domestic $8.00 Per Copy and $20.00 Per Recipient Address Orders received prior to 2:00 p.m. ET will be processed on the same business day; orders received after 2:00 p.m. ET will be processed on the next business day. Typical delivery is next business day, however, delivery time frame may vary depending on delivery location.
Express (Fed-Ex) International $8.00 Per Copy and $35.00 Per Recipient Address

Orders received prior to 2:00 p.m. ET will be processed on the same business day; orders received after 2:00 p.m. ET will be processed on the next business day. Delivery time frame varies depending on delivery location and country.

 

Note: We do not offer unofficial transcripts, electronic transcripts, or fax services.

General Information

The following information is required to place a transcript order:

  • Valid email address
  • Clark Student ID# (example: C12345678) or your Social Security Number
  • Date of Birth
  • Valid major credit or debit card
  • Your signed consent

For Express Services, you will also need:

      

  • An actual street address for the recipient(s); Fed-Ex does not deliver to P.O. Boxes
  • A person's name to whom the package should be delivered (Attention:)
  • A telephone number for the recipient(s)

 


 

Instructions for Current Students

Students who are currently enrolled or have recently graduated may order an official transcript through their CUWeb account or may go directly to the National Student Clearinghouse.

Once a student logs into their CUWeb account, s/he should:

  1. Select the "Student Services & Financial Aid" tab.
  2. Then select "Student Records" option.
  3. Next, select "Request An Official Clark University Transcript" - this will redirect you to the National Student Clearinghouse.
  4. Click on the Green button ("Order a Transcript Now") to begin placing your order.

On the order form:

  • Step 1: Complete the "Enter Personal Info" and click on "Next."
  • Step 2: Complete the "Enter Recipient(s)" and click on "Next."

    Note: if multiple requests are being made, select "Save & Add Another Recipient", and select "Next" only after all recipients have been entered.
 
  • Step 3: Review your order details and click on "Next."
  • Step 4: Enter payment information and click on "Place Order."
  • Step 5: Sign the transcript release Consent Form, as required per the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act of 1974 (FERPA).

A signed consent must be submitted prior to a transcript request being accepted for processing; the signed form can be faxed, scanned via email, or sent as a photo attachment to NSC.

Note: In some instances, a paperless consent is permitted in lieu of a printed/signed consent form.

  • Step 6: Navigate back to original ordering screen and select "Next."
  • Complete! You will be presented with a summary of your order, complete with your order number, recipient information, payment details, and delivery information.

Reminder: You will receive order status notifications at the email address that you provided in Step 1 throughout the ordering process.

Instructions for Alumni and Former Students

All alumni and former students may order official transcripts via the National Student Clearinghouse.

 

Please read through the instructions on the Clark University Transcript ordering page, click on the Green button ("Order a Transcript Now") to begin placing your order, and then follow the steps below:

  • Step 1: Complete the "Enter Personal Info" and click on "Next."
  • Step 2: Complete the "Enter Recipient(s)" and click on "Next."

    Note: if multiple requests are being made, select "Save & Add Another Recipient", and select "Next" only after all recipients have been entered.
  • Step 3: Review your order details and click on "Next."
  • Step 4: Enter payment information and click on "Place Order."
