Presidential candidate rallies at Clark
U.S. Senator Hillary Clinton's visit garners national media attention for Clark University
Senator and democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton spoke at Clark University on Monday, Feb. 4, to an audience of approximately 3,500 in The Kneller Athletic Center.
Clinton’s pre-Super Tuesday campaign rally at Clark garnered tremendous media attention and appeared that evening in news broadcasts and online media. By Tuesday, Clark University and the Clinton visit was mentioned in several top-tier media outlets here and abroad. Below is a brief list with some links for viewing online clips or photo slideshows.
The University and the dozens of Clark students, administrators and staff people who assisted on short notice received high praise from the campaign staffers as well as Secret Service, police and politicos.

If you missed the event, you can view the video by Clark’s Media Services, which was posted for viewing by the end of the business day Monday. By Tuesday morning the site had already received hundreds of visits by external viewers.
Clark Diarist Shyamal Asher wrote in his online blog, “Overall, it was a great day for Clark University as well as the students who got a firsthand look at a presidential candidate, just one day before Election Day.” Asher’s posting includes a slideshow of photos he took.

Clark was mentioned at least twice by Sen. Clinton during a satellite simulcast titled "Hillary's Voices Across America: A National Town Hall." The first 60 minutes of this 90-minute town hall was broadcast on the Hallmark Channel at 9 p.m. Monday. One such gathering was at Worcester Polytechnic Institute. Clinton anchored the event from New York City.
