To the Clark University Community
The FBI has notified Clark University that the alleged threat to a college campus in Worcester or Providence is not credible. According to the FBI in Boston, the FBI investigation found no evidence that this is a credible threat. A man made the statements after he was arrested on unrelated charges in Seekonk, Mass., Saturday.
As Clark and campuses everywhere cope with the stressful period following the tragedy at Virginia Tech, I want to again state that safety and security is always a priority here and to express our pride in the Clark community's caring and hard work as the semester draws to a close. It's my sincerest wish that the following month spells success and safety for all.
Please do not hesitate to call my office if you have any questions or concerns.
