Registration is from 8 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. The final round will begin at 10:30 a.m., and the awards presentation will begin at 11:30 a.m.

Clark Geography Professor Doug Johnson will give the opening address at 8:30 a.m., followed by Daniel Kramer, senior vice president at JPMorgan Chase. Rosalie Sokol, a retired geography teacher, is moderating the final round. This year's sponsor is JPMorgan Chase.

More than one hundred students who have already successfully faced school-level and qualifying competitions will vie for the state championship, a $100 prize and an all-expenses-paid trip to Washington, D.C., to compete in the national finals on May 22-23. The second- and third-place state winners will also receive cash prizes, and all three will receive world globes. The national winner will receive a $25,000 college scholarship.
