To The Clark University Community:

The University has received information from the FBI concerning a possible threat to an unspecified college campus in the Worcester or Providence area. Federal agents could not provide any specific information regarding the targeted campus or timeframe associated with the threat.

Although local law enforcement agencies have not been able to verify the threat, the Administration and University Police are taking measures to respond to the threat. We are working closely with the Worcester Police Department, the State Police, and other college and university police departments in the city while we gather additional information on the validity of this threat. We are asking all members of the campus community to be alert and aware of your surroundings. Please report any suspicious persons or activities to University Police immediately at 508-793-7575.

At Clark, the safety and well-being of our campus community, and especially our students, has always been and will continue to be a top priority for the University. Although we cannot confirm this threat, Clark has chosen to err on the side of caution. We are doing everything within our power to provide a safe environment. We will keep you informed about this situation as more information becomes available.
