The Carpenter Shop is responsible for performance skilled carpentry work in the alteration, repair, and maintenance of Clark University’s administrative and academic buildings as well as residence halls. The carpenters fabricate, alter, repair, install and maintain doors, door frames, windows, window frames, molding, ceilings, walls, sheetrock, paneling, porches, furniture, etc., as necessary, to preserve both the historically significant buildings and the new facilities on the university campus. They are also involved in assisting with set-ups for special functions including but not limited to commencement and open houses.
The Carpenters shop is located in the lower level of the garage. The Carpenters work Monday through Friday from 7:30am to 4:00pm. You can reach the Carpenters by calling the Physical Plant department at extension x7566.
