Through the May Term, internships, conferences/workshops and other opportunities, the Henry J. Leir Luxembourg Program deepens relationships between Clark University and The Grand Duchy of Luxembourg.
LLP-CU Events
The application deadline for The May Term 2012 was January 26, 2012. We received 102
applications. On February 1, all applications will be reviewed. Applicants
can expect to receive notification in their mail boxes on February 9. The notification
letters will include financial aid information, if applicable. All acceptance and wait-listed
forms mailed to applicants are back due in the Luxembourg Office on February 15, including the
deposit payment of $2,700.00. Please contact the Luxembourg Office at 1-508-793-7634 if you

Summer Research Internships in Luxembourg are generally available from June 1 to
July 31, 2012. A Summer Internship will also be available at The Luxembourg-American Society
in Belgium/WI. LLP-CU also hopes to offer again a yearlong internship at The Central Bank
of Luxembourg for a Ph.D. candidate in Economics.
On Thursday, October 27, 2011, The Ambassador of the Grand-Duchy of Luxembourg to The United
States of America, The Honorable Jean-Paul Senninger hosted a reception for Clark University alumni
at the Luxembourg Embassy in Washington D.C.
Ambassador Jean-Paul Senninger visited Clark University this fall semester: On Friday,
September 30, he presented a talk on "European Affairs" in Professor Michael Butler's class
on "Just and Unjust Wars". On Saturday, October 1, President David Angel and Jocelyne Bauduy
hosted The Ambassador and his wife, Louise Akerblom, at Harrington House at a reception for
all Clark Luxembourg Program alumni.
