AV on Clark-Owned and Managed Computers

Computers in the labs & classrooms and administrative and faculty offices are "Clark-owned". The hardware and software is managed and maintained by ITS. Antivirus software is installed on every Clark-owned and managed computer. Virus definition updates are pushed to these computers automatically when the computers are connected to the network.

Your Responsibility

You should occasionally check your antivirus to be sure it is up to date. If you aren't sure how to do that, contact the ITS Help Desk at helpdesk@clarku.edu or at 508-793-7745.

Update Your AV

It is imperative that you keep your AV software up to date with the latest virus definitions or .dat files. Antivirus software is generally updated daily. Make sure that you are getting those updates! If you aren't sure how to check that your AV is up to date, please follow the appropriate directions below to get the latest updates:
