Introducing Self-Serve Finance Through CUWeb
Over the past few months, Business and Financial Services and ITS have been working behind the scenes to improve access to Banner budget information via a recently purchased Banner enhancement, Self-Serve Finance. Self-Serve Finance is a secure, web-based tool that provides sponsored-research PIs and department/project managers with budget responsibility with up-to-the-minute budget without having to login to Banner.
Self-Serve Finance will be accessible via CUWeb, Clarkâs new administrative portal into Banner. Budget managers that currently access their financial information through Banner will be able to view their budgets through this new service. Those that have budget responsibility but do not currently have an active Banner account must complete an Administrative System Account Request Form prior to gaining access. In conjunction with campus-wide sustainability efforts, paper budget reports will end with FY08 (June, 2008).
