Assistant to the Director of Alumni and Friends Engagement
The Alumni and Friends Engagement office seeks a detail oriented professional with excellent administrative skills to manage the daily operations of the Alumni office around the effective engagement of alumni, parents and friends of Clark University through phone, postal and email projects. Working collaboratively with the Alumni staff members, this position will coordinate several mailing programs, develop and manage all office and customer service protocols, oversee departmental partnerships throughout the University, manage all information tracking of alumni engagement through Raisers Edge, track all budget spending, and oversee the day to day management of the Alumni office.
The successful candidate will have demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously; work autonomously; meet deadlines; pay exceptional attention to detail; and exercise independent judgment. A positive attitude, team spirit and sense of humor are necessary for success. A bachelor’s degree and/or extended experience in higher education advancement and a proven record of project management are required. Strong knowledge or Clark University history and alumni community preferred. This position requires some evening and weekend hours as well as occasional, mostly local, travel for events
