Sanford Hall
Sanford Hall serves as one of three First Year Residence Halls at Clark
University. Sanford Hall houses over 145 students. Like in Bullock Hall
and Wright Hall, all of the students living in Sanford Hall are engaged in the Residential FYE (First Year Experience) program.
The unique opportunities and sense of community experienced in an FYE Hall are just the start of
Sanford Hall's many great attributes. In Sanford Hall
you will find yourself a part of an immense community, full of life and fun!
There is almost always something going on in Sanford Hall, whether it be an
impromptu movie night amongst friends, or an organized event hosted by one of
the five Sanford Hall Resident Advisers. Sanford Hall is located in the
Fuller Quadrangle along Charlotte Street on the north side of campus, and is
only a minute walk from the the Kneller
Athletic Center, the Goddard Library, Estabrook Hall, the Little Center, and the
Wright, Dodd, and Johnson Residence Halls. Sanford Hall is also within a
quick walk of the campus center, including the Higgins University Center, Atwood
Hall, Jonas Clark Hall, Jefferson Hall, and the Bullock Residence Halls.
Sanford Hall Facilities:
Sanford Hall features shared common space, including a large social lounge on
the basement level, laundry facilities, and a variety of kitchens, semi-private,
and private bathrooms Sanford Hall
Rooms: Sanford Hall incorporates a variety of single, double, and triple
rooms. Rooms share semi-private
bathrooms and shared kitchens. There are 62 doubles, 18 singles, and 2
triples in Sanford. Almost all rooms are unique in shape and size, but regardless of layout each room is
equipped with beds and mattresses (extra
long twins; 36” x 84”), desks, chairs, bookshelves, built in closets, and window
drapes.
Also provided is telephone, cable, and high speed internet
service. Please note: because of the variety of room size and shapes in
Sanford Hall, we can not provide specific room dimensions.
