Blackstone Hall
In May of 2006, Clark University broke ground on Blackstone Hall, a new
apartment style residence hall. This state of the art facility opened to
students for the 2007-2008 academic year, and primarily houses junior,
senior, and some graduate students. Blackstone Hall, located along Beaver
Street and Florence Street, houses 208 students in 44 apartment units.
Each unit houses 4
or 6 students in a mix of double and single rooms. Blackstone Hall is
located on the south side of campus adjacent to the Lasry Center for Bioscience.
It is also the closest residence facility to the Dolan Field House.

Blackstone Hall features modern amenities such as central air conditioning and
full kitchens with dishwashers. Throughout the building are numerous study
and social spaces, including study lounges, comfortable seating areas, and a
large social lounge with a 50" Plasma TV. The Blackstone Hall laundry room
is located on the third floor and features 3 public computer stations and a 42"
Plasma TV. Blackstone Hall is the only building
with a public access elevator, and also brings new technology like wireless
internet to the students living there.
