Blackstone Hall

Blackstone Hall is our premier residence facility. For 2012-2013, it is available for all returning students, including Seniors who will be doing the 5th Year program.  It is designed to offer independent living accommodations with apartment style living options for groups of 4 or 6 students. Three apartment configurations are available. Six person units feature two double and two single rooms. Four person units are available with four single rooms or two singles rooms and one double room. Each apartment features a full kitchen with dishwasher, stove, oven*, refrigerator, over range microwaves* and extensive cabinetry including an island with breakfast bar*. *ADA accessible units feature wall ovens, standard microwaves, and omit the island and instead have a larger table. In addition, each unit shares a living room and bathroom space. See the unit layouts located here for details. Additional features of Blackstone Hall include: Wired and Wireless internet access, phone service, air conditioning, extensive study and lounge space, elevator service, fourth floor outdoor patio, laundry room with computer stations and 42” plasma television, and a 50” plasma television in the main lounge. Blackstone Hall bedrooms and common rooms are fully furnished with comfortable and high quality furnishings. For more details, visit the Blackstone Hall project site.

Blackstone Hall offers its residents continuous housing from August through May. Students are permitted to stay in Blackstone Hall during winter break if they request to do so. There is no additional cost for living in Blackstone Hall during the winter break. Students may also request summer housing which allows students to reside in Blackstone Hall during the summer. When possible, RLH will assign students to the same room as their upcoming fall assignment, but this may not be possible if consolidation is required for safety, maintenance, or summer conferencing purposes.
