Meeting with an adviser in Career Services or in your major department is the best way to
start your search for a graduate or professional program. Together you can discuss your
options and develop a plan for completing the application process.
In the Career Services Library you will find books on writing your graduate
admission essay, sample study guides for the GRE and LSAT and test
registration booklets. In addition there are publications such as the American Psychological Association's Guide to
Graduate Programs in Psychology, U.S. News and World Report's America's Best
Graduate Schools and several books on financing graduate education.
To help you complete your graduate school application, Career Services is happy to meet with you individually to answer questions or to critique your application essay. Each semester we offer a workshop on applying to graduate school in conjunction with Clark's Dean of Graduate Studies. In addition, we have partnered with Interfolio.com an online letter of reference / credential management service which allows you to store graduate school recommendations (and other documents such as your resume/CV, writing samples and transcripts) and have them sent to graduate programs while you are a student at Clark or later as an alum.
