Mathematics


The mathematics department supports undergraduate majors in computer science and in mathematics.  The program provides a solid education in mathematical principles for students who wish to apply mathematics in other fields and students who wish to pursue mathematics in graduate school.  Specializations in pure math, applied math, and actuarial science are offered along with certification in secondary mathematics education in conjunction with the Education department.
