Environmental Science

Environmental science (ES) is an interdisciplinary major, bringing together the study of the physical, biological, geographical, and policy aspects of the natural environment. Students choose one of three tracks as their primary focus: Earth Systems Science – the study of the structure and function of the parts of the earth Environmental and Conservation Biology- the study of the ways in which organisms evolve and interact with one another and their environments Environmental Science and Policy- the study of how human activity is impacting the natural environment and the scientific, social science, and policy perspectives on managing that impact
