Vickie Cox-Lanyon

Assistant Director
Vickie majored in Psychology at Trinity College in Hartford, Connecticut (another small, private, liberal arts college in an urban setting). After graduating, she worked as a case manager for adolescents with mental health issues before returning to graduate school and completing her MS in School Psychology at the University of Rhode Island. That led to a career as a school psychologist in a public school system assessing and counseling students from preschool through high school. Vickie came to Clark in 1997 and serves as an illustration of how it is possible to take your education and skills and transfer them into a new career. She now advises students on all aspects of career exploration, the job search process, and applying to graduate school. She believes that self-assessment is the key to finding a career where you can "do what you like and like what you do!"

Meaghan Stein

Assistant Director of Employer Relations
Meaghan recently joined the office from the University of Minnesota - Twin Cities, where she was a Career Counselor for science and engineering students.  She received her B.A. in Psychology from Occidental College (yet another small, private, liberal arts college in an urban setting!).  After graduating, she moved back to Minnesota and worked as a Special Education Paraprofessional for middle school students with learning disabilities.  Meaghan then went back to school and received her Master's degree in Educational Psychology.  She currently connects with employers to coordinate career fairs, on-campus recruiting, and job postings.  She also works with students on topics such as the job search, interviewing, and career fair preparation.
