Admitted Students

Congratulations on your acceptance to Clark University's Graduate School of Management!

Below you will find a compilation of information that we hope will be useful to you as you get ready to start your graduate program at Clark.

 

Steps To Enrolling At Clark

The following simple steps will guarantee your spot for the Spring 2010 session:

  • Enroll at Clark
    After deciding to join Clark, follow the instructions in your online decision letter to accept our offer of admission and submit your enrollment form and deposit. You must reply to our offer before your enrollment deadline. You can mail, fax or email your enrollment form and deposit information to us.

  • The I-20 and Visa Process
    (International Students)
    International Students should complete the International Student Information Sheet and return it to Admissions along with original bank statements, a signed affidavit of support if the bank statements are not in your name, and a copy of your passport.

  • Your Enrollment Package
    You will receive mailed copies of your official decision letter, course waiver or pre-requisite form as well as other important documents once you have submitted your deposit. International Students will receive their I-20s in the same package.

Orientation program for the Spring 2010 semester has not been finalized yet. This section will be updated as the Admissions Office receives more information on the details of the program.

Accommodations/Travel

If you are flying into Boston Logan International Airport and need transportation to Clark University, you can choose to take the  limousine service to campus offered at discounted rates. There are two limousine companies that serve the Worcester area : Worcester Airport Limousine and Knight's Airport Limousine.

Upon your arrival in Worcester, immediate accommodations in nearby hotels at a special discounted rate for Clark students and families are available.

Discover Worcester

You will spend 1.5 to 2 years living and learning in the city of Worcester. As the second largest city in New England with a population of 176,000, Worcester has a lot to offer in terms of dining, shopping and opportunities to get involved with local politics and social action organizations.

Immunization Records

Massachusetts State Law requires all full-time students who enroll in one of the State's public or private colleges or universities to be immunized against diptheria, tetanus, measles, mumps and rubella, hepatitis B and meningitis. To ensure that you comply with the health requirements of the State, please review the following information and complete and return the necessary forms as soon as possible:

Health Insurance

Massachusetts State Law mandates that all full-time students are enrolled in either the University's Student Health Insurance Plan or have provided documentation of coverage by a private health insurance plan. Clark's Health Insurance Plan provides comprehensive coverage and benefits to students.

Every student is required to be covered under a health insurance plan prior to registering for courses in the Fall. We will provide you with the necessary health insurance enrollment forms or waiver form (if covered by a private insurer) when you arrive.

Tuition, Fees and Living Expenses

Students must pay their tuition at the time of course registration. New students will register during Orientation week. For detailed information on tuition, and methods of payment, please click here.

Financing Your Education

Financial aid in the form of scholarships and assistantships are granted at the time of acceptance only and students will be notified in their decision letter if an award has been granted. Beyond merit-based awards, graduate students often rely on loans to finance their education. Clark University's Office of Financial Assistance supports graduate students in identifying and applying for a number of loan programs. Be aware that most of the programs require that borrowers are U.S. citizens or Permanent Residents, or have a co-signer who is a U.S. citizen or Permanent Resident.

Course Registration

Registration for incoming students will take place during Orientation Week. During Orientation, you will have a scheduled appointment with your Academic Advisor to select your courses and create an individual academic plan.

Waiver Examinations (MBA Students Only)

New MBA students who are informed of their eligibility to take waiver exams (See your Waiver Evaluation Form)  will have the option of taking these exams at scheduled times during Orientation. The following study guide will inform you of the topic areas for each test.
