The Graduate School of Management (GSOM) at Clark University launched in 1982 in response to the demand for high quality scholarship in business and management. Over the last quarter century, Clark GSOM has experienced outstanding growth, and continues to embody its mission of developing a diverse community of learners, researchers, and business professionals that prepares future leaders to think critically, manage collaboratively and contribute to their organizations and society.

Accredited by AACSB International, GSOM is a small, academically rigorous business school that offers a personalized, collaborative learning experience. Regularly recognized by The Princeton Review as a "Best Business School," GSOM also had its part-time MBA program ranked by U.S. News and World Report in 2015, and has twice been named one of the nation's top 20 most entrepreneurial schools by Forbes, most recently appearing at No. 16.

Other rankings include NetImpact's 2014 ranking of GSOM as a "Top 50 School for Environmental Sustainability" in its Business as UNusual guide, placing it among the world's best business schools to study and research sustainability and related issues. In addition, the 2011-2012 edition of the Aspen Institute's Beyond Grey Pinstripes, placed the Clark MBA in the top 100 business programs worldwide preparing students for the environmental, social, and ethical complexities of modern-day business.

In 2011, Clark GSOM joined the United Nations' Principles for Responsible Management Education (PRME) initiative, strengthening its commitment to education, research, and collaboration that fosters sustainable social, economic, and environmental change.
