On October 13, the
students in Marine Biology visited Northeastern University's Marine
Science Center in Nahant, MA. The trip served as an introduction to the diversity of organisms living in the rocky intertidal. We also examined the distribution of three species of snails (Littorina littorea, L. obtusata, and Nucella lapillus) at two sites that differed in wave exposure.
