Mr. London received a B.A. from Bates College in 1968, and an M.A. and a Ph.D. from the University of Connecticut at Storrs in 1973 and 1977, respectively. He has been at Clark since 1990 and is affiliated with the program in Urban Development and Social Change.

Current Research and Teaching

Mr. London's principal research areas include environmental sociology, Third World urbanization, development and underdevelopment, and social demography.
