Clark Fungal Database

Welcome to the Clark Fungal Database.

This database includes information about 2052 specimens, that represent 1405 species, in 497 genera of Basidiomycota and Ascomycota, which we are using in our research. 1553 of the specimens, representing 1104 species, have DNA samples. Loans of specimens or aliquots of DNA may be requested for basic research in non-profit institutions. Quantities of DNA are quite limited, however.

The Taxonomy page lists every species and specimen in the collection, while the DNA Storage page lists only the specimens for which there are DNA samples. Both pages are rather large. Use the Filter page to screen the collections using taxonomic and other criteria, including presence of DNA samples, GenBank information, and images.
