Adam Institute for Urban Teaching and School Practice More

Collaborative Practice-Based Inquiry and Research

The Adam Institute aims to understand and guide the development of effective practice through collaboration with school partners, neighborhood partners, and other colleagues. Collaborative inquiry helps guide and inform the development of practice in the focal areas of the Institute and lays the groundwork for scholarly work and meetings. In this respect, the Adam Institute works closely with Clark's Jacob Hiatt Center for Urban Education and colleagues in our National Urban Teacher Education Consortium to advance understanding of urban teacher development and powerful learning, teaching, and schooling practices.
