  • Time to Completion is calculated as time from date of program entry to date of degree conferral minus time on official leave from program (for example, for family or medical leave).
  • Note: for "Time to Degree Ranges," students graduating in less than 5 years includes all time up to 4 years, 11 months; students graduating within 5 years includes 5 years, 0 months through 5 years, 11 months; students graduating within 6 years includes 6 years, 0 months through 6 years, 11 months, etc.
  • In some unusual circumstances, prior graduate work in psychology may result in the reduction of some of the course requirements. Students may petition to receive transfer credit for equivalent graduate coursework successfully completed at prior institutions (see graduate manual). However, because of the sequential nature of the clinical and research training requirements, it is unlikely that any credit for prior graduate coursework would change the time to completion.
