Apply to the Ph.D. Program
The deadline for completed applications is DECEMBER 14, 2012
Individuals interested in applying to one of the three doctoral programs (Clinical, Developmental, or Social) should submit a completed application form along with a $60 non-refundable application fee. The completed application must be accompanied by:
• One official transcript from each institution attended
• Three letters of recommendation
• GRE General Test scores (Psychology subject test not required)
• Personal statement detailing the applicant’s academic and personal goals
• Essay articulating the suitability of the psychology program to the applicant’s goals
(Can be combined with personal statement, above)
• A copy of one or more papers written by the applicant

The $60.00 application fee must be paid along with the application, unless a waiver is requested. It must be paid by check made out to "Clark University" and sent to the address above. Please be sure to write your name on the check.
Clark University’s Ph.D. programs only accept graduate students who are able to pursue graduate study on a full-time basis during the day and do not accept students seeking only to complete the masters. All applicants must have a bachelor's degree (or equivalent) by the commencement of doctoral studies.
The application for graduate study in Psychology can be opened and printed for completion using Adobe Acrobat Reader. (Hint: If you have trouble opening the files, choose the "save as" option and save them to your local desktop before opening them. Download Adobe Acrobat Reader.) Please be sure to print and complete the application, making sure to sign all necessary pages and include the fee.
